The Indiana Pacers are winners of 3 of their last 4 including last nights 109-99 win over the surprising Minnesota Timberwolves. Danny Granger has struggled this season, but the Pacers haven’t really needed him. That being said, he’s been coming on in the last few games, and it’s making the Pacers a team no one wants to face.
Via Mike Wells, of the Indianapolis Star,
“Granger has scored at least 21 points in each of the past five games and is averaging 24 points a game in that span.
‘I kind of slowly build up to where at the end of the year I’m playing a lot better,” Granger said about his slow start. “I think it’s that way now. I’m just taking better shots and picking my spots better.’”The Pacers are fucking good, and they’re probably going to play well enough for a first round match-up where they’ll get 4 home games. I hope it’s not against the Knicks because they’re a scary team to face during this weird season sprint of a season.
